Interesting to see how this will work out in a game, might seem to be the first game with this kind of inituive idea. (MPTV versus HLTV).

I've seen several games where there were set schedules for events throughout the week, e.g. regular "Play vs the devs" events, although I haven't seen a game which had a full schedule for the whole community, especially where the community can suggest the events they want to play.

Will there be a good variety to choose from at any given time of day? I ask this because some people can, or only like to, play at certain times of the day and if a person only has a narrow window each day that they can go online and play will they be stuck with the same options each day at that time?
Also, with people living in different time zones will that affect the number of players in popular channels at various times of the day? (7:00pm where I live is 4:00am where Hylis lives).

I assume there'll be a seperate announcement about it and Nadeo will invite people of their choice.

As far as I understand/know there will be a closed beta (at least at first) and there obviously isn't an announcement for that. If you get invited, you'll be informed about it privately.
(Of course, based on previous experienced - but I expect they do it the same way this time.)

Demented, the concept is really to have 'no' choice somehow and our bet is that people will adapt to the "club" hour and therefor have nearly all people that like to play the same thing at the same moment, and be more social about this. Of course, in some cases, the choice of what you would like to play would not be in accordance with your personal agenda, but the consequence is pretty much the same if there is nobody to play with at that time. So, the idea is a also a little like that there is much more chance to see friends in giving a meeting day & place than to go everywhere at some random time to hopefully see them.

And for United States and the concept of "prime time" programs, we intend to have 3 channels around the world one day. At the moment it's too soon to have it.

Thanks, I still think it is a good plan. It concentrates more users into one area and should make for a better online gaming experience for most. It does solve a problem many have complained about (not enough people to play with). I do like the innovative thinking you guys share there. Keep it up.
