To my mind, TM already IS way "better" - or more attractive - than WoW

I don't know TM is better than WoW. I think you're right. WoW has say now...
16.000.000 or something like that. I don't know how long WoW exists In 7 years,
10.000.000 people has got a TM acoount.

Rofl your numbers are wrong guy. WoW got Like 30.000.000 to 45.000.000 players in the world. So TM is far away of this. But very much better! I think TM is way more cool and fun than TM.

You're both wrong. The last officially announced subscriber count for WoW was
12 million in October. But what would be needed for a proper comparison with TM is the number of accounts registered in both games, whether playing or idle/abandoned, and that number isn't available AFAIK.
Regardless though, such a comparison doesn't help TM, and is certainly irrelevant to the topic of this thread.

I thought the 12 million players was without counting the Chinese players, so it's probably much more players than 12?

The 12 million players are the active ones, who are currently paying the monthly fee. So it's not the same as the overall registered accounts.
TM has currently 11,575,859 registered accounts
http://www.maniaplanet.com/index.html
But the number of active players is way lower. You can see the number of the players who are currently online, on
http://tm.maniazones.com/
It is around 14,000. But it is no representative of the number of active player.
I remember hylis said something about the connected players in one month..but I can't find it... :S
