Maybe you can try to install the minimal setup that only installs maniaplanet. Then you will have to create an account and to install TM² Canyon, you will have to click on the Canyon title.
I can provide you with a minimal setup if you provide me with your player key by PM.

I got it to work!

I downloaded it onto my older computer and then transferred it by flash-card onto this one, and it worked like a charm. Ironic that my older computer could download it but not play it (it has nowhere near enough power to do it), but my newer computer could play it but not download it!

I'm having the same problem trying to install in Windows 8. It is ridiculous that this has been a problem for so long and the installer hasn't been fixed.

Sorry but you simply can't generalize it like this.

Some people do have issues with the setup, agreed, but most of them don't really have exactly the same issue.
It might not at all be the cause of the installer, but with the details many people give, namely often just "it doesn't work, please help", and then later "got it working", it is very difficult for the support to tell what's really going wrong here.

If this thread is to long now, it could be closed and opened again in a new thread condensed with the most helpful hints.

Those who still have install issues please contact Alinoa, but please don't expect an answer until tomorrow.

I have been trying to install TM on a new computer today. The Valley update worked but the Stadium and Canyon installers keep failing.

How did you install Stadium and Valley?
