Yes but that's an option who costs nothing to add.
You may say there will be bad maps using it. But there's also bad maps without it
I really think the use of cubes and signs can be helpful to make a map more easy to read.

So you give certain people early access (
link) to the PC version, but you can't organize a beta for it? - Bit hypocritical, wouldn't you say?
The people who have supported you through all these years are the last (unless they have a console...) to play your new game.
Anyway, let's wait some longer then...

So, the guy I left that was still working on it at midnight yesterday was an illusion
The build provided on PC is not yet the patched one. I already answered on the PC Beta and of course I would have like players to have it would we had a way to do in accordingly with our schedule.

Bad maps =/= buggy maps.
Players could produce maps containing overlapping textures for example, since they don't have any restrictions or guidelines when building maps. This wouldn't be good at all for the game.
I agree with you about the cube and signs.
