iRaceR wrote:about the different competitions. I used to take screenshots exclusively for themselves and show others. when I make screenshots on the contest - I can't win - because the screenshots obtained not so good, as opposed to the way I do it for yourself
Creation competitions are not interesting to win something (i never win any competion even if i participated a lot  )but because it brings motivation to many people to participate. It creates activity in the community. And the screen winners are often interesting :

Since "quality" is almost a subjective feeling, please explain what you don't like. :?

"Qualitiy" is synonymous to resolution. And yeah the resolution on that picture isn't very high indeed.

Uh, no it isn't. Low resolution may be considered low quality (but that's subjective indeed), however a high resolution image isn't automatically a high quality one - when e.g. a JPG's compression is very high, the image is still ugly, low quality. ;)

I'm just saying, it's pretty much used that way.
When you go on Youtube and go into quality settings, it let's you change the resolution of the video.

Resolution has simply gotten synonymous to "qualitiy". Mind the quotation marks.
It's easily understandable, what he means with "quality". No need to discuss the compression ratios of whatever, when it's obvious that that's not what he's talking about. Just take a look at the pic and it's clear what he means.

A high resolution does not necessarily makes good quality.
The media companies always want to convince us, but it's often a big lie.
I already have seen vidoes on TV or on youtube that had 720p or 1080p broadcasting, but which were definitely created with much lower resolution. :?
Therefore please don't fall into the same trap.

On the other way, even a lower resolution screenshot can show something nice.
And I do not see anything wrong on the last one regarding sharpness, contrast, colors etc. ;)

ManiaDesign still needs to answer the question.
