Agreed. These things are fixed now and the exchange link/dropbox link will be updated in awhile. Technically the back ledges could be accessed by jumping from the jumppad prongs but that's pretty dumb.

I decided to make a tiny and open map.
Jump and sprint pads are here to keep players speed.

There's a hill on each side of the field, which allows players to hide, but slow them down.

Since this is my very first map, I'm not sure it will work great, if you test it on your servers, don't hesitate to give me feedback so I can improve the map ^^

Ok. Firstly, I don't really like the map much because it's flat and boring. There's not much height difference or interesting routes (see Superflux, Slampost and Bowl) to keep it fresh. Some people might like it though.
Apart from that, two big points:
- Railgun can see like 80% of the map, including the enemy spawn. If you grab the ball from home, you can't get out of cover without being shot at least once. And even if you get past, you're not allowed to take any steps to the right.
- The jumppad by the railgun can be glitched to get out of bounds.

You missed the part where the fences are asymmetrical near the spawns.

Valerian is gone and I have no control over settings and map lists on any of the other existing servers, so I'd like to host my own. Problem is I'm a poor third world student and I probably won't be able to get more than one server and keep it up for long.
That said, if you want to see some official SpeedBall servers or just support me - please donate :)

It looks like a better, faster and less boring version of Encounters, but still has some issues:
- You can get out of bounds by jumping off spawn.
- This part feels like it should be ramps connected to the ball spawn to make at least 1 other way to the ball.
- Map in general lacks cover, especially the ball pathway area. It's too easy to shut down anyone who's coming to get it.
- It's too difficult to get to the enemy goalpost with the ball so it's much easier to stay defensive, get the ball and then make a pass to a sole attacker in the enemy base. Kinda same problems that Encounters has when players actually know what they're doing.

Other than that, looks pretty solid, though too straightforward for my liking.

Changed a tunnel and added a new jump way

I edit the map at some other points too. Hope it's now better. :)

/Edit: I had to update the map a second time. Version 3 now online.

Thanks to donations and guys from despe.de I managed to setup 2 speedball servers! I have full control over the script, maps and everything, it's pretty great. Too bad Valerian won't update his servers.

Great!

Btw it's possible to change the script so there is no overtime?
You play 20 minutes. If someone gets the ball to the goal the time stops and if the next round starts the time starts to drop again.
