Right now, switching between SM and the other four games, messes up my aim completely.
Say, I play 1 hour of SM, then go into UT, I cannot hit anything for the following 30 mins, until my brain has adapted back to the aiming of UT again.
You said you can change the FOV in the other 4 so can't you just set the FOV in the other games to that of SM? (just as some advice!)
He's been stating that
he does not know the FOV of SM, so he cannot do that.
I don't really care about FOV myself, but the guy raises a valid point, and I do believe he deserves a valid answer !

Did you even read my post?
What you are suggesting is EXACTLY what I'm trying to do.
But Nadeo can't/won't tell us what the FOV in SM is....

As Hylis said, the FOV is related to the ingame resolution (and maybe the size of the monitor), so it's dynamic that's why we can't tell what's the exact FOV.

then tell how to calculate it.

Computation from the numbers makes me give you the answer 88,37 on a 4/3 screen. And I may be wrong. Anyway, it is changing as soon as you move, so if it is really different, tell me so I can find where I made a mistake.

We are working on blocs but are releasing the one we feel good with on the long run. Some elements you have seen went through various evolution or choices. So, the goal is less to release many quickly but ones that are better for the long run.
Moods are made to see better the shoots as well and also to have a little more of a battle feeling. Light ranges should be more calm than in Canyon.

If 88,37 is the
vertical FOV on a 4:3 ratio screen, that gives me a rough calculation of about 104 horizontal FOV on a 4:3 screen, which would be about 88 on a 16:9 monitor.
Seems about right, though I would've guessed it to be a bit higher.
