I've taken MX offline for an extra day. I'm having a small issue with the accounts database. Some possible corruption has been detected and SQL has placed it in recovery mode. I don't know how long recovery will take (though it is a relatively small database). I'll bring MX online first thing tomorrow.

A quick analysis suggests that there's nothing wrong. However, the sites still keep throwing recovery exceptions. I must investigate further.

Will the portal be online tomorrow also or will it work later on?

The accounts portal is now back online. Registrations, activations and resets can now be performed as our mail server is now up and running.

If you donated prior to the accounts portal being online, please send MrA a private message at Mania Exchange with your PayPal transaction ID (TX). MrA will then distribute the donator days manually.

Thanks for being patient while we recover from this disaster! We're currently working on new disaster recovery plans to prevent unexpected downtimes.

Dont know what a donator day is, or even what the benefit is of a donator day
Doesnt matter, I just donated as an appreciation for all the good work you guys have done, now and during all the past years.

Great job FF and all guys involved in this. You can't imagine (or probably you can ) how much this site is doing for the community and how much the hard work, the invested time and the invested money is providing the basis for this active community.
