Not everyone is willing to follow the same creative process. Either by being unaware of it, or just lacking time. In an ideal world, everyone would do the same.

How about making Unlimiter only accessable for the RPG Title pack?

In my opinion, one trackbuilding community shouldn't get more advanced building tools than another.

I find it useful, really. Of course many use it far too much (anyway, either hosters won't use them, or players will leave their server if they dislike them) !
... but in many maps only few blocks use it and you don't see it at all without attention and real knowledge of what blocks can or not be placed where. Without it, it would not had been possible to place some blocks like they are in many maps that most players just don't think that they needed unlimiter.

I'm for a hidden option, that you (need to) activate each time you use the editor, so mappers won't use it when they don't need it, and newbies just won't know that it exists so they won't use it. The only thing : forbid to place 2 checkpoints/finish/start at the same place, and borbid 2 identical blocks at the real same place, because that is really an ususefull and stupid thing which is happening.

Well my opinion .. and mine only

(just for background : i never blockmixed any track in TM1 and never felt the need to - well besides environment mix, but that's different just fun really)

Most of my Canyon tracks, 90% at least if not more I used blockmixing somewhere ... why ?? The blocks are so difficult to make a nice smooth experience for players that will race and need diversity at least.
I will blame it on limited number of blocks or the lack or good workable ones.

Face it, how many blocks in Canyon do you actually use to make a multiplayer time attack track ?
All those underground & cliff ones are so difficult to utilise at the best of times.

So all in all what I'm trying to say is that the unlimiter or blockmixing in Canyon is essential ATM, unless of cause we get better control like removing barriers from road blocks or those cables.. even maybe have a pothole block like in coast where u can jump off the road. :3

And last but not least ..... give us a block where we can set the trajectory of jump/ramp !! i.e. what angle 2, 5,10,15 degree

The thing that the tracks may be bad, but they aren't bugged, that's a big difference :) (because with the Unlimiter, they can be both)
now we only need bug free maniaplanet, lol.

what about this idea?
when u start to build a map with mixing enabled, u have to pay 1000 planets :D
