In light of this TMarc, i want to apologize for jumping on you like that. I was led to Believe that this event was an interview with an actual developer, hence the title "Ask a Dev Event".

To Nadeo and Jokhr; again, i appreciate the effort and initiative, but it seems I as several others expected more out of this event. My suggestion for you moving forward, to avoid any misunderstandings or wrong expectations like this, would be that you do this event with Hylis himself, f.ex. once every 3 months, and that you set a fixed amount of questions to be answered, f.ex. 10, and that the questions are suggested and voted by the Community Before the event.
Yeah, they could use reddit for something like this, but that would probably involve talking about a lot of bad stuff about their game and having to defend why they won't fix key bugs and issues (movement, physics, netcode etc).

And that's not what they want to spend these events on ^^ (If it was you would've used reddit and let us upvote the questions we most wanted answered the first time too)

They probably don't believe big events will be profitable in the long run.
Also, there were no even small ones from publishers/devs since the launch.
Now there are no 1v1 events with any money prize since Zotac closed.
Such an esport title.

Thanks for the feedback. As a reminder, this was the first of many events to bring better communication between the developers at Nadeo and the amazing community that is on these forums and playing our games. These events will evolve and change.

Ed coordinated with developers and determined which questions we could answer. With ESWC and PGW coming up, this obviously was not as many questions as we hoped for since we have more info going out this week. In addition, we also have a lot of things in development that we cannot fully speak on at the moment.

This event was something that I did not want to delay on. So we made it a priority.

I appreciate the feedback and will try to implement these suggestions for our next one!

I agree with you. Another dev event should be good and spoilers too.

Good news

One of the things which I always missed of Nadeo is that they usually do not present their WIP (Work in progress). It's always a torture to wait for the next big thing (Update, new environment etc) when there aren't any screenshots/teasers. And if they finally come out, it's just a couple days before the release.

Anyways, I am looking forward for the end of the month.
