I really do hope the game price will not be the same for all the countries, since economic situation isn't the same everywhere.
Here in Russia 25 USD isn't considered cheap, even for titles like Mass Effect, Call of Duty, etc. And if every environment would cost this much, it definitely caused many people ignoring it.

Already posted this on forums. Cheaper price than i told people. Wow, 50% off most big box, heck THIS IS A BIG BOX.

I'm more interested in maniaplanet however, is that sad? I guess having it be called a "game OS" is the cool part.

i hope that $24,99 wont be 24€. in bank i can get 25$ for 18€. also 25$ is more like £16 if im right. not a big deal, because the game doesnt cost 60€ like BF3(60€=85$), but its unfair anyway. im guessing that this purchase will be locked by zone, not like zone free gog.com(i can buy games there for good old and still cheap $$$ :) ).
i grew to hate the general idea that $:€ is 1:1 so much over the years...
more so living in country where average monthly salary is 769€/month(before taxes and all).

anyway im happy to see that at least few developers take PC seriously and visit forums often and provide valid feedback to customers. i will gladly support this effort with my 18-25€ :)

Great to read that you'll be at GamesCom. Make sure that you, and all of the other players being there too, stop by ESL booth : Jeryo, MrBob and myself will be delighted to see you there. And do not miss the numerous TrackMania² Canyon tournaments we will organize all show long!
Chris and me will be there and help at that area (from the ESL) - so I think you have to suffer us :P :roflol:

dunno. i work for company which has connectivity from UK(AT&T UK - UK IP). i wanted to buy some old lucas arts games on steam while being at work. having UK IP, i saw UK prices(not euro - didnt even notice that at first). after my purchases steam blocked my account and banned my credit card, because those games were purchased from UK and my credit card/account was marked as stolen. All previous purchases were made using same card, but from Slovakia. after investigation, they told me that im not able to use UK prices(which were better than euro btw) and i need to do the purchase at home on Slovak IP to prevent additional ban. credit card holder information must also match your zone you are trying to use. im not sure if its possible to create slovak VISA/mastercard account with some bogus USA address and buy on steam for $$$.
weird is that i woud not be able to use steam while on visit somewhere in UK or US without new credit card.
all this zone/region restrictions are really anoying.

best of all, having my steam account/card banned at that time, Direct2Drive did not sell those games in my region i ended up downloading those games from torrent. it took like 15minutes and it was free.

imo developers/publishers should shut up about piracy problems and start selling their product fairly and comfortably.

Hylis recently stated it as "maybe" so I must ask again:

Will the current beta testers get the full game for free as an update of their beta version or do we have to buy it?
Please answer soon because otherwise I would have to pre-order it tomorrow :P
