Literally JUST bought the game... saw an episode of "WTF is... Trackmania 2" on youtube, loved it, and this happens the very first time I try to play :/ Pretty damned disappointed right now, single player wont even work because I cant activate.

Re: CAN NOT CONNECT D:<
I guess it's time to try the last race on TM Forever again, the one with 60 laps. Anyone else with me?

They have power outage, I highly doubt this is going to be a common problem, so theres no need really.jankkos wrote:Hopefully this is happening just because the game is new and we don't have to get used to these breaks.Cerovan wrote:I have more informations, the Master Server has crashed and at the same we are going trough a power outage at Nadeo. This combination of circumstances prevents from bringing back the Master Server at this moment.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
In the future, would it be possible for Nadeo to back up the master server and its databases in two different locations physically, so that if the main master server goes down, traffic would be automatically routed to the backup server until the main server is back up?
Re: CAN NOT CONNECT D:<
I don't understand.. Is there a three hour power outage where the server is located (if so, why is it not backed up by UPS?) or is there a power outage at Nadeo office so they can't remotely connect to the server that is located in a server room?Scotteh wrote:They have power outage, I highly doubt this is going to be a common problem, so theres no need really.jankkos wrote:Hopefully this is happening just because the game is new and we don't have to get used to these breaks.Cerovan wrote:I have more informations, the Master Server has crashed and at the same we are going trough a power outage at Nadeo. In either case, by backing up the server in two physically different locations would prevent these kinds of issues. And even if there is only a small chance that this kind of problem occurs, it really would be smart to make necessary precautions to prevent it from happening ever.

We will implement new procedures of course, if necessary. But master server crash + power outage at the same time is what I would call an "extraordinary combination of circumstances". We always try to back things up for any situation, but you can reckon some are just beyond normal foretought. I'd put today's situation in this category, unfortunately.

Guys we with you & I think we all understand how it can be with all that electro stuff, so be cool, we can wait & training Nadeo maps! =)MrBob wrote:We will implement new procedures of course, if necessary.
