Actually, if you make sure Windows can't connect to the internet anymore (by, say, turning off your network adapters or physically unplugging your machine) the game actually lets you play offline...

Doesn't work on my end. Disabled all network adapters but I'm still getting the 'This game is not playable' series of messages.

Yeah - this used to work for me, but it doesn't now; personally I blame not playing the game since installing the optional update (so much to do, so little time) and the bug Gugli mentioned above...

No it's not.

I'm still unable to login. Infact i've been unable to login before the main servers appeared to go down. Now it's back to the point where I can select my profile but not connect.


According to one of my buddies, it shows me as connected. So what this means, unlike every other online game i've ever played, this won't auto disconnect you after so long if you're not actually, you know, playing it.. Which is wonderful.

I cannot play online or off. It does not matter if I cancel the connection right up front, disable my network adapter, unplug the cable, or anything else. I always end up with the series of messages that "this title is unplayable."

Great game but not being able to even play offline is disappointing
