I'm not going to translate it myself but I have sent db89 some pictures of the screenshots in the magazine (here: [snip] *mod edit, please don't link to illegal copies of copyrighted material) and the first 2 pages of the article (there are 6 pages and I hope i get round to copying them all). He will then post them to his TM2 blog (http://trackmania2.blogspot.com/) in all languages (you can translate the blog).

Just purchased the pc gamer (French), really nice screens, some new info too.
I will make some (legal) quotes later today.

What makes a quote legal? Serious question.

Very good question indeed.
I think it is different for each source and each country.
I'm trying to find out at the moment.

Edit:
The cover of the mag is © Nadeo/Ubi, so i know who to contact for the permission ^^
To acquire the legal quotes from the text in the magazine a written demand for permission has to be sent to the magazines editor. So that is a bit more problematic.
Still, if something is stated in a lot of magazines, it becomes "publicly known" i suppose, but i don't know when...
The safest way is to ask Nadeo to tell us some things themselves on this forum, so that we don't have to quote :)
I will contact them to ask for their opinion about this.

Does this magazine have a forum (on their website) where you can contact the staff? That would simplify this issue.

And if i don't quote (copy directly) but just talk about the things i read?
I read that TrackMania United remains free, which isn't even true
I did not read that Canyon will be free, as purification stated before.
I read that TM canyon will only be distributed by download, as shops don't like to sell games that don't cost much.
I read that there will be a split screen multiplayer mode.
I also read that the control of the cars is not similar to previous TM editions.

All of this i read in the may edition of pc gamer, i'm really glad that i bought it, it is a nice 4 page article with a lot of information and some really beautiful images that showed me a lot about the new game.
I advice everybody to buy it.
