We made some more tries and still had the same issues. I hope this will be fixed really fast cause now that a lot of players know the game they defend very safely so without a pxlShot it is really hard to take a cap . Please nadeo/ubi do something.

Have anyone got any reply from them? About they removing the 3 dots and with that the randomness in long shots? Its really serious and we need an awnser/fix fast!

Hi,

In my opinion being able to "pixel shoot" someone will just make the game even more competitive and "pro" for eSport. Here is my point explained in few points:

First of all, being able to hit a pixel in a hurry or on an hidden person will just intensify the difference between a very good player who can hit 1 single pixel in a fast action, than a person who can't.
This will just enlight the difference between really really good players and others, and make the game more spectacular for sure !

In more, the new meta of the game with the actual hitting system to connect 3 points on a guy, is just camping!
It is simple: the guy has to connect 3 points on you, if you just hide behind a wall with a little pixel of your head or leg out (that the guy can see), that guy can who is seeing you can't hit you, so he has to rush you in a very bad position, you and your 4 rockets! This is just totaly favoritising camp mode and safe play style.

Another situation is the long shoots: if a ennemy is at 100+ meters, you can only see few pixels, maybe 1/2, sometimes a bit more. Connecting 3 points on this(these) pixels is just impossible, and allow the ennemy at a long distance to prefire you for free while you can not hit him!! And if you do it is randomly--> that is not what we want and expect from a professional game.

My final point is that ShootMania has been made to be the new FPS eSport game, representing FPS at its very best with the best things of every of its old brothers (team play, positioning, information from call of duty and counter-strike, skill shoot with quake and counter strike...).
To do so we need a spectacular game, which means fast actions, not camping prefires and a guy rushing at the very end with only one armor. If defense win, the game has 80% chance to not be spectacular or even interesting. In more "pixel shoot" will really help in making the difference between champions whith good aim, skill, reflexes... and lambda guys with a bit of luck.

For the eSport future of shootmania in a professional way, I really encourage Nadeo to "review" the hitting system to make "pixel shoots" possible (for example you can just run a test during2/3 weeks of the BETA!!).

Thank you for your attention, sorry for the long post, and thanks to Nadeo and all the people who support this game cause it really deserves this!

Please fix this this railgun and hitboxes or at least give us some feedback !

You opened the beta to the community so use it to make the best competitive fps ever ^^

actually i see it the way that nadeo doesnt care or else they would have posted already instead of posting here about the modding of a weapon. they see the post they see the problem but they dont care or even dont understand (english?) the problem at hand!

sorry for beeing that rude but its like it is!

and that makes me sad :( i have see shots yesterday by my self and by others wich where impossible but yet i got the hit through ...

I injected cash in shootmania project by pre-ordering the game like many of us. I'm ok to finance (a small part of) the development of the game. But if they fail listening to the community it will be a no go for me.

Bad guess... I just expect a lot from this fps and I'm an opensource nerd. I would not understand that a company using beta testing from community not listening to customer voice and community. Sorry I just dont understand the point of your sentence ^^

Nadeo works on this problem but they can't post onb all topics for all problems, they need to work on the game too. Please wait, it's a BETA.

It's a private company and it's just a matter of putting ressource on communication or not, of course they can't answer all posts, but they can make a global readonly sticky one giving some information ^^.
