Because a lot of people use Steam (50 million users as of Nov 2012). It could bring the game to a lot more players who would otherwise not try it... or even know about it.

More players = bigger community

Bigger community = more people to play with and a more diverse experience

more people to play with and a more diverse experience = more custom stuff like car skins, tracks, title packs and objects to use

I really really like this all enigma thing with new announcements like that.

If its the CANARD googled it was not so hard to find it out but keep it that way for the next big things!


and ofc Steam would bring much more people playing the game and I really do appreciate this platform, if we do have the possibility to join friends through steam in the beginning, it will be great :>

For those who do not own ShootMania, those are ShootMania wood slide blocks and the water base from ShootMania Storm. The 9:00 is the important part I guess. A clue to when the announcement takes place?
