servermania is a tool to configurate and administrate your server, but you are able to start a server without any other tools than the dedicated server itself...

So what is the status on this (memory leak issue) 2x now since the launch of STADIUM I have had my root server completely brought to its knees, as in “total lockup” which in the almost 10 years of hosting I have not once ever had this happen. I do see there are many others with the same issues so has anyone have any answers?

As a rule I have been running 10 Nadeo servers between – TMNF-TMUF-Canyon-Shootmania and not one time has there ever been any issue such as this.

After the first “meltdown” I reduced server loads by basically shutting down ALL SERVERS with the exception of 1 Canyon & 1 STADIUM server clearly yielding the same crash and burn results inside a couple of days.

It would be nice to at a minimum see something from Nadeo on this topic as I wouldn’t consider it a “small problem”.

Before now it was “PATCHMAINIA” now, no reply…….

I am also getting a bit angry from now. Not even ONE simple statement on that, no reply on the pm and absolut NO information about this. We do not even know someone of NADEO read this.

I am currently monitoring my memory usage by the servers and got this so far:

Only a few minutes later with no bigger joining of players it was like this:

Although the player count was not only growing and falling at some time, the gameservers are only earting up the memory. For the moment it is in a "normal" amount (the servers were restartet between one and 2 o'clock), but as it is growing very fast and exponentiall to the players count, I except at least one of them to be down at the evening.

They are aware of this potential issue and will investigate about it

I hope Nadeo is working on the problem as well, and just doesn't have additional information to provide yet; though it would be nice to hear that they are trying to figure out what is going on.

However, I think your best bet for a faster response is to start a new thread under:
ManiaPlanet Open Beta Reports
with the subject...

Having your responses get lost in the several different topics that have been discussed in this thread is probably part of the reason you haven't heard anything back yet.
