You made a good point of why the unlimiter IS needed! Do you want recongnizable patterns in RPG maps??? I do agree that the tool is abused sometimes, but I think that it is more often used for good. And 90% of the time that I use it, I only use it to have 2 blocks in the same piece, but never have them overlapping. I am one of those "few experience mappers" that doesn't abuse the tool so why am I being denied its use? If I ever place 2 blocks so that there is flickering I always try to cover it up so that people do not have to see it.Coud be useful to a few experienced mappers in my opinion. However, such a tool would be more likely to destroy the coherence of the game/maps for most users.
I fear that it would be used badly in around 90 % of maps. (Flickering textures, colliding blocks, etc...)
Editors limitations are also here for a reason. To keep recognizable patterns, so that players in general know what to expect.
