It still is broken with the current api of 2013-04-16. With the api version: 2011-10-06, It will work like a charm :P.

And here I thought I was crazy.. continuously whining about these missing (and incredibly important) callbacks, and no other mention until now..

One clarification though.. round callbacks do work in the 2011-10-06 api.. but there's still the huge problem with the EndMap event being called right with the EndMatch event right at the podium, where EndMap should wait until ready to load the next track. Kind of feel like I've brought this all up before.. oh, wait.. xD

Hi,

Tm2 Canyon experience:

I have seen and still see in the upper right corner of the server screen the default Map info widget (built in). This should only be shown in solo mode yes??

Anyway, because it displays, it interferes with Xaeseco2 Widgets i place in same location.

Can this default map info widget be removed from server software or at least, disappear after 5 secs?

Well, first off.. there's a newer beta dedicated server version: http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 61&t=18991

As for the map widget.. It's supposed to be there, whether in solo or online mode -- not everyone is running a controller with a widgets plugin to replace it. Disabling it by default is just purely not a reasonable option.

However, there is the possibility to disable it via manipulating the 'CustomUI' xml options. Though, I'm not sure if this option has since been deprecated/replaced, or if it's just not working due to one of the many wonderful bugs still included in these beta server versions (I can't be sure -- haven't been back around here long enough to figure out all the massive changes that have occurred since I abandoned TMCanyon; though users such as Xymph, TheM, or w1lla likely know the exact state of this functionality currently).

Basically.. whatever widget plugin you are using.. go bug them! The author(s) should have coded it to properly disable the built-in map 'widget' already, provided they have the ability to do so currently. If all else fails, try setting the widget's background to something opaque with a positive z-index -- that way, it'll simply cover up the existing widget.

For all others.. for matters involving any problems you are having running any custom code/controllers/plugins, please post those concerns on the relevant forums/threads where you obtained such codings (unless, of course, you are the coder yourself). Nadeo doesn't support any 3rd-party software -- they just allow/support the ability for such software to exist.

ok. Thank you. This is good info. I use Xaesco2 so i guess i know who to ask next ;)
