Laser beams would work for a railgun

A railgun in SM would be so awesome!

Wait wait wait...no gun model at all?

That's a little off-putting for me, TBH...I still expect it to be a great game...but AFAIK, even Unreal had weapon models in the "shoot-from-the-hip" style...

It was in development and the weapon where not designed
And I don't think I need a lesson on Unreal

By memory, I would recall the biogun, the flack canon, the rocket, the slow energie/combined with laserrail, the rebound weapon, the teleport, the piloted nuke, the gunrail and I probably forget some, but I clearly see the alternate of each as well. Last time I played was around ten years ago and I have much more experience in Quake.
But we are not making Unreal, Quake, CS, Halo or CoD.
We are making ShootMania, and I hope it will be a ShootMania like.

I definetily will buy Shootmania, but I can't imagine what energy flung from the camera means..
No blood okay, but energy flung from camera? Does this mean we don't see any weapon, and we have to guess where we shoot, because there is no weapon ?

I can't imagine it, can anyone make a little drawing for me?

Oh oh Unreal, I remember bodyparts, which flew through the whole arena
would love to see defeated enemies turning into lots of candyballs. Yum yum
And I think the Weapon needn't be a harmful one, just something to turn the enemy into deafeat (like teleporting to the start or sthg like that). I prefer a candygun with flying hearts.

LOL I'm not saying that anyone should make SM be like any other shooters on the planet, but FPS's everywhere have conventions...at least every FPS I've ever played...

As a great fan of Unreal series (Including Unreal Tournament and the newer games (UT3, for example), I would like to ask: Is it going to be possible to create such a game mode like "Warfare" in Unreal Tournament 3 by ManiaScript's capabilities? Because it's a really addictive game mode amongst UT3 players
