Long and time saving drifts are possible as well.
The steering has changed completely, it feels more realistic now. But it seems that the steering now fits completely the conditions which is pretty much needed in TM² Canyon, because most turns are really fast and tight. Instead of just stop accelerating and then steering through the turns you also can slide to drive the turn more smoothly and faster.
I swear to God you guys are going to give me a freakin'
HEART ATTACK!!!!!!! I am on the verge of losing my MIND after reading all these comments about the car and the drifting physics! OMFG this is crazy! I am all of sudden getting flashbacks of this game:
I can't help but think of OutRun 2 when reading people's comments about how you can control the drifting.
If
anyone on this forum has played OutRun 2 before and has played TM2, please add your thoughts on this comparison and tell me if the drifting between the two racers are similar or very different. Because if they are similar and the drifting in TM2 is like OR2, I am going to run down Sunset Blvd doing backflips
IN THE NUDE!!!!
This is the type of handling I have wanted in Trackmania since the very FIRST game! So to think Nadeo finally gave it to us has me foaming at the mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
