Didnt Cerovan explain this? I think he said it wasnt possible because of several reasons^^ At least that is what I understood. ;)
Well you can always see ShootMania Storm Royal as a different game as ShootMania Storm Elite or ShootMania Storm, it's just a point of view.
Ofc, but on Steam its sold as 1 game , my friend ^^
Its just not possible on Steam :( I hate it too, but its reality

Hylis said he can make Elite unlimited for 1000 players at the same time. ( thats free )
So maybe he should just do that. ( or make it virtually free and change the number to 9999999 )
And then advertise it somewhere.

But I dont think Hylis will like this "solution". He only said he could do it, if it was necessary.
So its up to us to convince him.

@Kremsy: The solution you want is not possible. They cant advertise seperate titles on steam because its part of 1 game ( ShootMania ). I'm trying to explain this to you :p. Also Cerovan said it. :thx:

He didn't say that he would do it if it was necessary, only that it would be possible purely technical.
I think there is no need to try to convince him about this, because he isn't planning on doing this:

It's totally possible to say: "I believe that making Elite for free on a long period of time can improve the number of players. And I think we really need to start saying around that they simply have to download the Shootmania demo on Steam to join us, or we will make a link with the super setup: it goes directly into the Elite station without going through Maniaplanet."

Well, to increase playerbase, the game should get back to right direction=competitive game. Now we have casual boring gameplay than really competitive with a lot of things to master. Combo was a good step at release but the progress to bring Combo to e-sport with ads/script features is very slow.

For some reasons, I understand long-term strategy but the current state of platform is an EMERGENCY ALARM. Ubisoft propably will not spend money for ads to promote until next env.

Steam achievements as a "attractive charm" for kids will bring more people and it was requested 2 years ago without result :(
