You know what also worries me?

1. That we need to wait for a very very long time for an update. If the 1st update for SM will be in 2016 then we waited over 1.5years. You can ask someone to be patient, but years? Hmm.

2. In the meanwhile NADEO invests money in cups ( = good ) , but you can see that the player numbers are dropping and were never so low. Ever. ( I'm talking about SM ; not TM )

3. Even if the next update will be insanely good and brings new players then we ( = competitive players ) would have to wait again a véry long time until those news players are actually "good enough to be competitive".
Let me say that I have to wait at least 2years (1.5years for the update + 6months for a player to become good ) before I can lose vs a new team.

Am I overexaggerating or is it just true? Anyways, for me this is true & it makes me sad , no matter how much I love this game. My favorite game. And I cant wait 2years because thats just too long.

This is not negative... For me this is, by far, the most important issue I have with this game. Feedback please

Playernumbers on TM cups seem to remain quite stable (as you seem to want to point out).
Though at the same moment, prize money in TrackMania cups seems to be limited to LANs (incl. ESWC) and fB's Weekly.
Some way we're able to make it work without the involvement of prize money: the Weekly Race already had massive amounts of players before prize money was introduced.
The ESL CPS has a constant number of teams around 45 (of at least 5 = >>225 players).
The Canyon premierships got >50 players and >20 teams (of around 4 players, 80 players), not saying those numbers are massive, but compare it with the playerbase and it does much better than f.e. the Stadium CPS.

If you compare the eSports scene in Stadium to some years ago, you see that it has seen quite a decline. Less LANs, no ESL EMS, no ESL EPSes, in general less prize money. For now it seems to soldier on, but I feel it's too bad to see this decline happening.

I can't speak (too much) about ShootMania, because I have very few knowledge about it, but seeing that the complete ShootMania section in ESL has closed down, makes me worry...

ESL.FR Shootmania section closed for a lack of players, last cup had less than 8 teams i think, this was one year ago.
ESL.EU Shootmania section opened again for GO4 but then immediately closed after it.

Paragon Cups worked really well, started with ~30 teams and it kept climbing until Gamers Assembly , there were over 45 teams during the last cups of Mars/April, now that the GA is over, they still were 36 teams on the last cup but only 29 on the previous cup :(

Now that update that we're waiting for sooo long, it just seems it's postponed over and over again, and now we've still absolutely 0 info about this update except that it won't bring much new stuff for Shootmania and that we've to wait 1more year ...

anyways , it's véry clear that we have to wait and I can ( hardly ) accept that. But please NADEO dont do it like THIS again. You have to understand that this is tooooo long. That's what I'm hoping to reach with these multiposts.

So if nadeo could confirm that would be awesome. There need to be frequent updates in the future : Like every 3months.

I don't

Nadeo provide tools for community and community create stuff (maps, titles, mods, cars, add-ons, scripts, updates, etc, you can chose the name you want) every... day.

For example, yesterday in PMC it was really fun to drive on new TMPlus items :

So, Trackmania is not for drivers who just wants to drive anylonger? You need to draw maps and cars to drive? I guess this is the reason there are so few drivers left than.

Yeah, yeah whatever. However, it is still far from perfect. In addition, it is "objects" rather than blocks!
These types of blocks in the Valley does not*. Hm, I noticed (roughness, I realized that it is) "experimental mode" solves most of these problems. But we need to move on not stand, constantly enjoying something one thing. ManiaPlanet - a world of impressions. Where is this all? If we draw inspiration only from 2* environments? :|

Show me!

An excellent solution, but without this objects, map is broken.

* By the way these blocks remind me of the Canyon. If so, it is either new "objects" or mods to the original environment.
* I do not consider "Stadium" because I overplayed enough on it in the previous Nadeo games!

I see a conflict between creators and players, but I guess it's only because the creators are happy about how much they have gotten toolswise in the past 2 years. I really hope the esport is gonna happen big again - in TM and SM.
