Something that is strange is that in the posts to all game news providers, its told that the community feedback and playtests information was vital for a new release date.
However it seems to me only internal playtests was critical for any new features and improvements or is my opinoin in this case a wrong one?
Really hope that with the internal playtests people are used that actually understand TrackMania and not random kiddies/players that play other games.

that's not proven... besides this, Nadeo/Ubi wanted to have "fresh meat" for their tests.
They will certainly have shown the game to kids and adults who have or have no experience with other car driving games, and who don't know Trackmania yet.
Some others might know Trackmania already.
It is only sad that thee was no closed alpha/beta with long time users (yet?). It looks like we're out of business here, although many users of the forum regularly show their interest and their stunning capabilities here.
But if they think they don't need their opinion, I don't see any reason to continue posting and debating about TMT in this forum any longer.
And guys, especially Lorisa, because you can't stop telling the Nadeo games are dead, it is exactly you who are preventing others to join, because they're all afraid now.
Think well of that!

We know, but
we prefer communicate on something we are sure to deliver in a medium/small period of time than to give false hope to the players. And even when we do that, we may happen have a unexpected issue that delay the release of the feature/patch/thing planned.
I laughted at this sentece so hard.
This thread is about a changed release date of TMT and you wanna say "we prefer to communicate on something WE ARE SURE TO DELIVER".
Then just stop doing anything. You dont even need to bend that much since you dont communicate anyways with us...

I'm not even mad. I am sure that this delay is for the best results and will allow for Nadeo to make a better TM Turbo.

Also, part of me kinda enjoys the lack of info. Keep all surprises for the release of the game
also i'll have extra time to finish my pretty-big-project before everyone moves to tm turbo ^^

Only then people will stay, and new ones will be amazed.
Let's go

There are many members in the community doing that, but I think Nadeo needs to do their part too.
2 MAJOR SUGGESTIONS:
1.
ADVERTISE! Promote the game! I know, it costs money. But at least make SOME attempt to advertise the game. I don't know anyone in real life that has ever even heard of Trackmania, Maniaplanet, or NADEO

. You might actually get more people playing the game if more people knew about it!
2.
MAKE TUTORIALS! One of the best things (and the only reason I still play this game) about Trackmania is how customizable it is. So please, show off these features! And I mean everything, no matter how simple. Teach them how to put color in their names, how to make locator files (way too many people don't know how to do this), how to use MediaTracker, how to make skins, how to import models, etc. Right now (as far as I can tell) you just rely on the community to teach everyone these things, and it doesn't work very well. There are very few people who know how to do these things, and many, many people who don't. PLEASE, invest some time into making tutorials. You know trackmania better than anyone, so tell everyone how to use these awesome features
One of the best ways to keep the community alive is to get more incoming players, and keeping those incoming players involved. So advertise to get them here, and post tutorials to keep them here! Maybe I'm crazy, but those are my two ideas

TMarc thinks that once somebody say bad things about Nadeo, so this can be the reason of a small number of people, who want to join. But, it's not the case. Of course, distractors have an inpact on this situation, but its impact is minimal. It's must be a goal to do much harm Nadeo. But this goal doesn't exist at all. So far, the main putting off factor is Nadeo itself. The developers that extend the deadline every time, reschedule the release date time and again, don't make regular updates and don't post any news. They give canned responses, just to get rid of us, the fans of the TrackMania. So, who is the biggest saboteur here?
There won't be a normal community's activity without a normal platform. Today's opportunities of Mania-games are things of the past. Not many people aren interested in the game. Yes, of course, there are no business rivals... But it doesn't mean that everybody will use such a platform. If the platfrom isn't supported by regular updates - so it's about time to see that the present support of the community is executed for the sake of appearance. The results of a such activity are ineffective. These results not just prevent the community from getting stronger and bigger, but even prevent from safeguarding the current, minimal level.
I bothering you that I say the truth in the face? Even if you are not nice. You should take into account and correct your bugs rather than try to isolate themselves from those who see your world differently, and trying to tell you that. I'm not asking to adapt to me, but I am saying that you need to answer for your words.
In this case, you and developers are wrong. You, because try to shut my mouth, while developers are trying to feed us the same stuff again.
Think about it.
