Yeh it was ^^ And I agree, random respawns would definitely ruin the fun

I remember having tears of laughs, playing Serious Sam in coop, (friendly fire off), and camping the spawns with a friend, armed with gaitling guns; under a shower of fire balls, bombs, rockets, skeletons and bulls... it was total war, chaos, blood, metal, bones... and was killing my buddies at respawn, transforming their spacebar to marshmallow

I also remember a guy in Wolfenstein Enemy territory (or was it Half Life Day of Defeat ?), camping in the Allied boat in Omaha beach, sniping us from behind at birth...

I've never been a fan of FPSs, and I'm woefully bad at them. But this looks and sounds pretty good, so I might be willing to give it a try. As long as it isn't online only. >_> But I get the feeling I'm being too hopeful with that one.

Quake physics with a Trackmania touch would be the best fps ever!
I'd so love to try set times on a platform map from TM2, in SM (defrag style).

Indeed, with this connection between the games, it would be funny to calculated an overall (over TM2/SM/QM) ladder.

First I would like to say I cannot wait for this game to come out. I am hoping for the ability to make multiplayer fps maps, but I would also like to see some possible campaign elements, as well as the ability to have rpg-like elements. The thing I really want to see however is the ability to design and create weapons and guns as well as characters and possibly ai?

for Quest games you need PvE, which means you need to be able to make different monsters. This would work for Shooter and Quest (simply give them a gun).
To be able to tell those Ai bots how fast, trigger happy, smart, angry, or armed would be a great way to make games. A shooting range with slow moving zombie bots or a fast action blood bath with a single player map (or co-op).
Character cusomization is key in all games now. Being able to add a little extra to your gun should be how ShootMania out does the competition.
Make it simple for the millions of players, but make it fun for the elite creative to make a giant monster with a giant machine gun that shoots out killer chickens, ok maybe not.
