It's great to hear that you are developing features that connect with external systems like ESL, so it may be a more united and automated system.

I just wanna ask in a different perspective, but it's kind of the same question:

The feature I miss the most in the competitive environment in maniaplanet right now is something we see in most other competitive games like dota and lol where you can easily find match and tournament statistics, used heroes, demos from official matches, ranking based on performance in official competitions, etc. connected to your team and player profile. These small details that are linked to your profile creates a much greater hype around a competitive community. We also see the use of a competition calendar, a complete tutorial and guide system for new beginners, all built into the menu system that is easily being extracted to external pages as well. As I discovered some of the functions over at player.maniaplanet.com, I was really hoping this could be an introduction for something similar in maniaplanet.

What is your thought about the systems DotA and LoL have implemented, and do you intend to make a similar competitive system built into maniaplanet?

we are working on these principles since a long a time. However, they are on hold at the moment. What takes us more time is the fact that we have to do it with many parameters that LoL or Dota don't have so much: custom modes, custom servers, custom maps etc. And we also have to keep the moderation at a low level and we wish to be open to competitive sites (we do not want to centralize)

It's a lot of constraints, and since we have other topics, it takes time. It also takes time because some choices have been made about the orientation of the live development that were different from this. I expect this type of topic to resume to more speed one day. Until then, you may have external solution that will be capable to plug to our tags system to provide official awards or replay system to provide demo. In next update, the player profile ingame is made more efficient to add new content.

Thanks to next update, with more visible news, maybe some players will do good stuff about this. Rankings made by the community can be efficient as well.

I have see that closed bêta is comming ( great )
But question , I m going to stream Shootmania at the Gamer Assembly (If i can )
so can we switch version ?
play bêta and if needed play the normal version (like stream the GA ^^ )

I think the beta version will be a separate installation with a different exe file.
