The massive cliff-mounted loop in Canyon doesn't work. I've never had any problems with loops on Stadium, Desert, Island etc., but this one has wrong geometry:
1. You _must_ approach it via a narrow road
2. The loop requires significant left/right turn once you get on it, but due to the sliding tendency of the canyon car, this typically results in losing traction
But normal loops, made of concrete blocks, work just fine, because there the builder has options how to adjust the approach/exit angles, size of the loop etc.

Works for me. I trying even driving this loop noslide. Depends on map of course. I agree that is hard, but after few years everyone should learn it. It's possible. Not like

Search on several forums, can't find any answer ...
I currently am re-making classic tracks to PS4. (already finished Cliffhanger, Driftight and Raw Flash)
But I can't do tracks with wallrides & loops (which excludes a lot of -splendid- tracks !) as I can't find any way to force a change of camera in the builder.
I read during my search that there is a classic builder on PC, but I guess there isn't on console, right ? And it seems that the media tracker is only available on this clasic builder ... so I guess it isn't possible at all on console ?
Hope I'm wrong, as this would be a very negative thing ... I know players can change camera themself ... but when 90% struggle to even finish Raw Flash, can't bet on the fact they will switch about 10 times camera for a run. (I did a basic Smooth Life track -end is a bit different and less smooth as I used it to learn the builder- and most players vote "Dislike" cause they can't get through 2 loops and 1 basic wallride ...)

What is mediatracker? Anyway, jeez console must have identical feature of pc version >.< whats the sense of make a game most for console , and make the pc version better? Wheres the difficulty in introducing the camera change in trackbuilder? PATCH NEEDED

I hope it's a sarcasm but ok, will try to answer.
Consoles are very limited in terms of management policy, that's why most consoles games doesn't have modding unless game is using own editors and files are small. That's why Nadeo put trackbuilder to make console players happy.
The sense of making pc version better is, to add more variety of setting and customization. Turbo has mixed reviews on steam due multiple 'lacks' of features that were in previous Trackmania titles which makes people sad. This is something that is not necessary on console games.

And since the console customers are brand new for TM, introducing a mediatracker which would be compatible with pads is mission impossible. First because they will struggle as hell to understand how this tool works, and then they will struggle even more to use it properly

So, absolutly no way to choose camera for my tracks ?
So, 95% of the tracks I would like to do ... can't be done properly ?
Obviously there is no "complete" mediatracker. But at least 1% of what it's capable of, seems easy to do, and more than usefull ...
As it seems better to answer to haters than to normal questions ...

I'll wait a little longer, hoping someone can do it nicely, understanding what I want to, that I'm not hating TMT, and if I didn't understood the builder on PS4, maybe sending me to a nice tutorial ...
All I want is to share great tracks on TMT PS4. I do understand console limitations, and changes trom TM2 or older TM. (I don't like some of them either, but eh, we knew that before, and Hylis explained everything perfectly in his recent post-it topic)

I think that, unlike PC players, every console player has gamepad and uses it. While on keyboard changing camera may be difficult during drive, on gamepad it's not a problem. Different people has different drive styles - someone wants camera change on wallrides, someone don't. I am cam3 player (internal cam / bumper) so long time ago when I made my first maps, I spoke with cam1/cam2 players what they like to change cam on wallrides / loops etc. On loops it was obvious but on wallrides someone wants to change cam, other don't. And one person says me that he likes to change camera when he wants manually. I think the best method is to made maps for console with no camera forcing. For me is still better than if someone force cam1 after loop instead empty MT clip to stop previous one. :/

I must agree with this generally too.
But I also spoke with a few players, and they hated me for some loops/walls they cannot pass. I asked them about camera, and they told me it was their issue, playing external, but they refuse to change it manually ... (ok, that's some stupid players, isn't it ? :/)
Then, I may try a few stadium maps (with many loops and all -why not Kindheitstrauma

- and see some more feedbacks

Pressing a button to switch between internal and external cam is far from perfect. Trackmakers place cam triggers exactly where they feel it's best. Which makes manual cam switching a laugh. Also the right stick on the controller isnt convenient for it. So I sincerely hope it will not be the 'new way' to drive turbo stadium. I've reset my brain for Canyon by building speedtech but I'm not going to reset my brain for Turbo Stadium. Please add internals cams in Stadium. And please give an answer soon because with every full speed track I now build I feel like I might be wasting my time.
