Not a wasting time, GanjaRider. Become cam3 player. :) No complain about someone forgot cam change and nice camera ridigly attached to car instead of smooth chasing. :) The only problem is that some cam1/cam2 players disable cam3 after loop by placing force cam1/cam2 instead of empty clip. But that's rare in pro maps. Cam3 rules!

Driving in cam3 is even a worse idea than manual cam switching.

I know few guys who, like me, playing cam3. In real life, when I driving, I sit inside my car, not flying over him. :)
BUT - if you think that cam3 is bad idea for driving, then why you complain about no cam3 on loops, wallrides etc? If you love cam2 so much (cam1 so far does not exists in TMT) then use it all the time. :) And good luck! :)

You don't understand his point. I am a cam1 player, but always want cam3 in loops or wallrides, because in cam1 you cannot see where you are going (it's as simply as that for me). I'm just used to this since years.
In cam2 it's a little better than in cam1, but I got some headache if I play like that for 5 minutes..

Oh, you're driving your car lying down, the head in front of the front bumper, 5 cm above the road ?
Can't understand how anyone can do a TM/RL comparison
BTW, as GanjaRider said, manual change isn't that much a perfect solution, as you can't map buttons (on console at least). Throttle on Square and brakes on X is already quite a pain ... And I cannot play TM with R2 for hours ... but anyway, the thing is, if you play with []/X, seems hard to press the stick to switch cameras.
The thing is, I'm not asking for a complete mediatracker, but a basic camera tool, where you can place triggers that force a camera, and an ohter one that let the player back to his normal cam do not seems hard to implement. But I think it's a Trackmania basis ...
@GanjaRider : Are you PC only for TMT ? I would love to remake some of your map on PS4, but if you're already on it, I won't

(anyway, can't do 90% of them until I can manage camera :/)

Of course I\m not talking about change camera by pressing right analog. I assume that fix will be released soon, so I'm talking about comfortable assignment camera change. I done this already but I have that possibility (Logitech pad + Logitech Profiler).

I personally don't like my camera to change, even in a loop. I can sense where my car is in a loop anyway. However I know most prefer in car cam in loops so...
A simple solution: Have options in setting for the following:
["Switch camera in loops?"] [Yes] or [No]. ~ Let the player choose if they want in game camera triggers active.
[Create custom cameras for undefined loops?] [Yes] or [No]. ~ If no triggers exist on a map, auto generate in car camera triggers inside the loop and default camera triggers at entrance and exit of loops.

Is it me or the garage items needing a level upgrade doesn't work? I got my level upgraded but unlocked nothing.

Sometimes loop entry is just an ornament, so it's not a good solution. Also - don't know what it works in TM2/TMT but "default camera" in TMUF means cam1, not camera previously used, so the proper method is, as I said, put empty MT clip, not "default camera" (otherwise cam3 players will have forced camera they don't use). But inside loop... this may have sense but SOMETIMES may cause problems (flying between loops).
