I hope it's a sarcasm but ok, will try to answer.
Consoles are very limited in terms of management policy, that's why most consoles games doesn't have modding unless game is using own editors and files are small. That's why Nadeo put trackbuilder to make console players happy.
The sense of making pc version better is, to add more variety of setting and customization. Turbo has mixed reviews on steam due multiple 'lacks' of features that were in previous Trackmania titles which makes people sad. This is something that is not necessary on console games.
What the hell are you talking about m8? Pc got the possibility to let the camera changing during race, in trackbuilder, ps4 not. And you are talking me about all this crapping management policy stuff? Lol. Who cares about that im talking about simple things of the game

Like this:
Can't do it either (on PS4) which is frustrating.
Even worse with camera triggers and even, block mixing ... that are used in campaign tracks ! Why making tracks with all those great features even on PS4 if no one can copy it (I guess blockmixing tool from MP works for TMT the same way and maybe even without being updated ?)

No.
Campaign maps do have blockmixing.
Containers and cubes are available in preset macroblocks, but not as standalone blocks/items.
Oo first time the campaign maps are "special". Hmm i always thought it is cool that the campaign maps are created with the same possibility that the user editor offered.
Some reasons for this choice :
- Much more assets than in previous TM games, (Billboards and objects) so it was needed to correctly place them and display them on the maps.
- Allowed to increase the overall quality of the campaign
- Allowed to make some ideas and concepts work for some maps
- (Hopefully) Preventing cuts
- Clean mixmapping. (No visible overlapping textures.)
To name a few.
I can understand why it can be seen as a drawback though.
Thanks for answering TheTekator. Shame it's not possible. And it seems so simple to implement. It's also possible to drag water and dirt so why not scenery blocks or roads. I don't care about blockmixing though. I only care about internal cams!!!
Anyway this thread should be called "questions and answers: by players, for players".
