I was wondering... on every videos and every screenshots i saw, i didn't see any trace of water, but a barrage, so... is it Nadeo keeping a secret part of TM2, or is TM2 really super dry ? :p

Some magazines and people say Nadeo makes the tracks again, others say the community is responsible for them. Fact is that nobody really knows who the creator of the TM² tracks will be and what their names are.
And I don't think that Nadeo or Ubisoft hired the worst track makers of the world - I'd rather think they chose old, experienced and very good ones

But can we really be sure that is WATER? How do we know it isn't just another type of ground that reflects its surroundings? We can't know for sure unless we have an underwater-screenshot!

They've gone a long way to fixing that...

The water in TMUF underneath looks WAY better than it originally did...
