It's very important for me to have a boxed version because the online payment methods aren't supported in my country (yea I live in a s**thole) and a PC-DVD is an only option for me to get this game

I hate to be the one to point this out: What is the point of wanting a boxed copy if Ubisoft DRM requires you to be online all the time anyway?

Because nowhere has it been said that Nadeo is not going to allow Ubi's draconian DRM into their game. The DRM that has been cracked anyhow. So far, a combination of StarForce and whatever in-house method Nadeo has been using has proved uncrackable. And besides, since the real action of this game is online anyhow, most of the people are going to play online. If you don't have a real copy, prior to Ubi's taking over Nadeo, you couldn't play. Now, if Ubi puts their DRM into the game, not only has the code been cracked, but so has the ability to play online. So it would be must like closing a barn door after all the livestock have escaped.

Hylis told in an older topic to DRM, that they are known of the pros and cons. So i am pretty sure they won't ruin the game with it.
Look at tmuf. There was no drm and it works well vecause tm is an onlinegame ;)

Not well at all, considering how much online cheating is going on in TMF. None (or very little) of that happened in TMN ESWC, thanks to StarForce. So some anti-hacking measures are needed, regardless of whether you want to call that DRM or something else.

I don't think any of that has anything to do with Starforce.

If someone is going to cheat, they're going to crack it anyway. Adding more DRM measures to hurt people who are going to bypass it is not the answer.

Just btw, in TMF there's no boosting, and in TMN ESWC there's so many. I hate boosting just as cheating. :(
I also hope that Nadeo won't use this Ubisoft DRM, because I think that copy protection can ruin games...
