Exactly. It would update every one or two weeks, that's not unbearable imo. There was such a title, by the way (not sure if SM or TM though), but it didn't really take off. It was posted in the Workbench forum where no-one noticed it.

I wonder if they will allow animated signs (bik files) in TM2 stadium

I can't imagine stadium without those moving signs

BINK is not integrated in ManiaPlanet (search the forum I think Hylis explained why when we released Canyon without bik support)

Seems so ... that's why I ask.. but what about the track signs .. the neon's ? or what ever they call it.. it's part of the blocks, but animated... surely it must be the same concept.

I don't know if it's already in TM2 Canyon (I didn't checked the mediatracker anymore), but something very nice for people like me that did tournaments and then videos with the replays, would be the possibility of show the nicknames over the car in the final video and not just in the mediatracker realtime preview.

But that video was recorded with an external program capturing the mediatracker preview.

Its still there. setup the button in
Profile : Input : General input : find "show and hide names" on page 2.

He means it would be nice to have it for rendering videos. Right now, if you leave "display car names" on in the MediaTracker, and then go to render the video... it will place the tag at the corner of the map instead of above the car. It's been reported before, but MediaTracker didn't seem to be a huge priority for the last couple titles. I hope that changes for the upcoming titles.

If this feature isn't fixed by the time the next beta starts, I intend to report it again.
