My 5.5 cents-worth: By the time you finish reading this, you will all know what a server-admin-noob I really am... I run 8 Canyon servers and a number of TMU servers but I know nothing about how to build the server packages. I did run a Storm server for one week after release but it ate up 31Gbytes of bandwidth in a 24-hour period (expensive here in Australia), so I abandoned Storm way back then.

Here's my theory: There seems to be nothing wrong at all with the upgraded server package. The in-game client update removed block files (or whatever programmers call those files which say your game has certain track parts) but it didn't replace them with new ones ------- or it simply removed those files when it wasn't supposed to. My Blocks folder is now empty.

So! I think all that is needed is another small in-game update which puts these missing files back where they belong - in your ManiaPlanet folder.
There you are - either I'm brilliant or I'm a server-noob. Please wait.......

Like i mentioned before, this could be prevented when u had test this before releasing it

yeah, nadeo makes it more worst every minute now ... they just can NOT censor this forum by deleting the truth, what the hell is going wrong with them? They should work on that beta2 disaster instead of deleting posts they dont like and thefore send the last community members feeling!

Aha, posts got deleted again hm? I thought to remember I wrote something here a couple of minutes ago.. So I'm not that senile yet.....

Its a choice nadeo makes in conjunction with ubi so blame ubisoft aswell.... Just remain calm it aint the end of the world

We aren't saying this, just it can take time to fix everything, but as Hylis said, the bloc issue should be fix today.

Moreover magnetik work at Nadeo Live and so work work on services around ManiaPlanet (competitions manager, team system, ManiaPress, this kind of services). It's Nadeo who work on the dedicated server and all gameplay/coding stuff in ManiaPlanet. As you can see on the forum, they are too busy to answer in the forum.

So please be calm and wait a little. And we don't censor posts, just you can write your disapoitment without being insulting. As you can't remain calm, i have no other choices to put away from the forum for two days

True story. To get together with ubisoft will probably have been the downfall of nadeo.
But they need money and so they had no choice.
