Re: [TM2-Canyon]Freeze detect

After so many months (or even years) I believe that every bugs are important to fix. Especially if someone says before that some bugs have no priority. Ok, back then - they have no priority. But they are still there, right? Good programmer can fix some of them in one day (like that locator problem with FXCameraMap), so if nobody fix that then it's just a lame. Very lame.

There is one situation that I can handle answer like "not important bug". If someone from Nadeo programmers wrote here that he don't want and never will fix that bug. And that will be enough, because nobody will ask about that bug again.

Of course all bugs should be fixed at the end - if possible.
But sometimes it really takes time to find out the real cause, even if the fix itself takes only a few hours or 1 day like you say, but if you're yourself a programmer you will know this is all not that easy.

Sometimes there is the decision not to fix a special bug, but to work on a different approach, like a redesign.
And also there are decisions not to change anything so the gameplay is not affected again.

I would say there are important bugs - which affect all players all the time.
And there are less important bugs, that less players encounter, like in special use cases.
Not all players create own maps, not all mappers use the Media Tracker, not all players have own servers etc.

Nadeo has clearly put focus on ShootMania and also the upcoming update will have many things for ShootMania, less for TrackMania. So the chance to have bugs in TrackMania fixed will also be less :|

Now I have new motherboard, memory, system, gfx card and processor (some improvements are always cool). But still buddy notification freezes happens (and other freezes sometimes too) - even on new modern computer. Hey! Fix that PLEASE!

That's bad. :|

Recently I also had buddy notifications which distracted me while driving solo, but I did not really experience them as freezes. While driving online it might be worse since there is much more communication ongoing, but also there I could not experience freezes, perhaps only a minimal stuttering like bad fps rate.

Let's wait for the "big update" and see if it is fixed one for good there.

And when we should expect that "big update"? And where is "to do list" where I can check that someone from Nadeo/Ubi at least know that freezes are problem?

As I understand, changelog is posted AFTER update and I'm talking about list of changes that will be made in future update. Just to be sure that you know about specific bugs. Otherwise we can report them again and agan and you still will make some minor, less important changes and skip that most important ones (freezes are most important imo). For example (and I'm talking about that again and again, and again until Canyon beta was released) - http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 27&t=14671

I suspect that your method to resolve problems, dear UBI/Nadeo crew, is to wait long enough and maybe people who complain stop playing this game. :) Then - bug resolved! :)

BUMP!

Is here at least one person who believes that Ubisoft releases any fixes?
I do not play so often this game anymore and I think that is the way - instead of fixing bugs, wait until players stop playing this game (no playing = no complain).

So how is the situation about Freeze in Game , since last post here , i do not see any solution
I'm really tired when I drive a race (in multiplayer -round mode tm2 server-dirt race) when new player connect to the server , or leave the server , that my game freeze for 1 sec , with controller lost , round over and out last position
Not funny this
Can not drive ROC anymore ,by this way
Have this problem now for more than 8 months , and after every update (shootmania updates) it gets worse and worse
Also why do i have always the players in the que waiting list connected to my ash spectator
2015 A new year , and like many comments here , time to spend some time for the player mode problems in Tm2 , in place of Shootmania
Tm2 have most of the time more players , that play the game contra shootmania players
