Wasn't the original TM - Desert, Rally and Snow? Oh, wait... On the old box I have (from 2004) it shows the environments as "Speed, Rally and Alpine". I think other names have been adopted over the years.
Check out these system requirements on that same old box:
450Mhz processor
64 MB ram
510 MB hard drive
16 MB 3D graphics card

yep it was ;P I remember my PC was so bad back then, Rally maps didn't even load xD

I still have the old ingame music in the ears (especially the endless looping of the editor music )
