Do you guys have any plans for a Valley update? Like new blocks, modes, anything, that title feels rather abandoned

THAT is what im thinking all day long.
The guys behind these games should really spend money on releasing free content for these games.
That would keep the games intresting.
just like others do to their games, releasing major ingame content a few times a year to keep the players active.
Also nadeo(?) should use more resources on advertising these games.
I belive gamers around the internet got no clue how awesome these games are.
oooh yeah!
My question however:
I think the game looks great, i have a great gfx card and i would like the game to benefit more from it.
Some more advanced graphics settings like better HBAO, better Anti aliasing than the current one would do alot.
The bloom effects sure does the trick already though.
Better looking grass?
option to adjust weather in the editor and the animation speed of trees and grass so i could make it look stormy?
Also being able to use custom objects in a map and make them visible online without the need of a titlepack would be my wish nr.1.
make players download them through .loc's

fungist, many questions in one post, I'll try to answer to some.
Nadeo makes games that make it more (maps) or less (mods, models, items, servers) easy for the community to develop own things for free.
Although it is certainly a sign of almost best quality if Nadeo releases a official title,
some community creations reach a very high level... e.g. look at Raid and Raid2 from Meuh21, see
http://www.meuhmania.com/
Regarding support for modern video cards and features, please understand that ManiaPlanet is currently using a engine that is based on DirectX9, also to have small setups run the games (with lowest resolution and settings).
A shift to DirectX11 was not yet announced at all, so there is no idea when this will happen.
Regarding marketing and advertising, Nadeos strategy is "long term"... they don't do much due to budget limitations and focus of Ubisoft (e.g. on "blockbuster" games like Watchdogs), and they hope that the community spreads word.

You should try with the last server update... it works with it (for me)

Thank you! I'll answer, if it will be working.

Oops, I think I said a little bit wrong.

My friend have rented dedicated server. I think, for this servers have more difficulty for embedded objects.

So, when we're going to see anything new related to TM2? I just see a bunch of attention for new blocks and gamemodes just for Shootmania, we deserve the same ammount of attention on TM2, not just bug fixing, a lot of us don't even care about SM either

I care, dreammy care, a lot of players care about SM. But You know, TM has 10 years, SM only 1. That's why Nadeo bring more attention
this year to Shootmania.
