Don't you just want to be a speed demon on those tracks?
+1

I agree but puzzle modus was cool and funny , I loved it , anyway.. stunt is just luck

You're right, but I also want to perform a nice Chained Master Twister 360 too

Agreed. Trackmania has always been more than just another racing game. Platform was still a race--I could always get high speed up on those tracks--but it was a race with your brain, rather than just reflexes. You had to see the track and think of how to get from A to B, and get there in the best time with the fewest restarts. That's really what TM is about--take that out, and it's really just another ghost-racer (of which there are MANY) with jumps. Don't take away the awesomeness of Trackmania and just put in a race mode.

That somehow doesn't seem right to me.

I thought i've read, that there will be these modes in Tm² as well. Not sure about that, but if there is no affirmative answer of Nadeo to it, im not going to believe what any website writes
@isamu:
The main focus of Trackmania is not the racing, Trackmania is more about beeing creative. Just take Crusard as an example, he should be respected for his creative maps and amazing Mediatracker work. I'm not sure if he really inventet the "story tracks" but he definitely almost defined it to perfection.
And if you dont like these modes, there's still no reason to be elated. The other cool thing of Tm is that you can choose what you want to play. Just ignore stunt/platform/puzzle if you dont want to play them.

I totally agree to you. These modes made the differents in Trackmania. When I was bored with normal races or multiplayer I played stunt or puzzle/platform because it was a great challenge

In fact, I never really played other modes than the normal one. And I don't need those.
Just a thought, since they can evaluate how many people actually played these modes through the solo rankings, they maybe found out that I'm not the only one completely ignoring this stuff. So probably they think it's not needed from start and will be implemented later or can be created by players themselves - which gives them time for other things to worry about.

I behave like you, kaldra. But I know many players playing only trial/platform or stunt. Even if it's the minority, there are still enough players playing these modes.
I am sure the number of platform-players in the solo ranking is quite low because everyone has the same score (0 respawns

) and so it's not very exciting...
