Back to the original Turbo Q&A here:
- what about VR goggle support? players report their Oculus Rift (DK2) is not recognized.
Any hint about how to make it work?
- some players still don't get the demo version of Turbo in the free games. Is there already a reason known?

rat_in_car, I don't force him at all. He does what he wants, but he should not be negative there. That's it. If he thinks that saying that we treat the community like shit is ok, then we disagree and he creates a forum on his own or whatever. Our role is to provide a good place for discussions, with constructive feedbacks and developers around. It's not an official place to spit us in the face ôO and come back by force if we ban him to do it ôO

About VR, it's a topic I will be able to talk only later. It's not yet supported.
About the Trial version, there are still some things to do but people that are in charge of this are back only next week.

Hylis, you always complain about players being negative but a lot of negativity could be avoid by a good communication.
For example, if you had created a topic
"The Nadeo is going on a well deserved holidays. Please continue to post bugs and feedback. We will look at it when we come back and we will decide how we can improve Trackmania Turbo.",
players would not have feel that you already drop support on Trackmania Turbo and would not have complain as much.

It's not good communication that should prevent from negativity, it's just people that should be positive. You can not announce bad news in a good way. And for some players, bad news are the good news for others.
Of course, the communication could be better, but that not an excuse for people to be negative, it's just an explanation for why people would do wrong things. You can explain a lot of bad things then in the world, but it's not an excuse. Take all the sins, and you have got many explanations.

Btw. Hylis, just small question - what do you think about my idea about ini file (few posts earlier)? Is it not a solution for made small changes faster? Maybe this is what everyone needs - programmers just add few things for players without change GUI, graphics or adding any options in game.

I will see what is the solution and when we would do something if we do something. I know ini file is not the solution.

What about the "record-ghost" button, hylis? Do you want to include it in an update?
We still have the "url"-button in the mediatracker, if you want to choose a skin and I pasted an url. But a layer was before the text-screen, so i cannot read the text after clicking at ok

Mediatracker is something we have added that is not even supposed to be in Trackmania Turbo. It's like a cheat code made to still have this great tool accessible but it's really difficult to justify the postpone of Maniaplanet to make specific update about it. It's more among the list of thing we expect to sort out once in beta with the players closer to Maniaplanet 4 release. At the moment, the one that would work on this are working on bigger stuff.
