Sooo... they should remove some optimizations for game to run smooth only on hi-end hardware, right?

Finding the right balance is always the best

He is not moving the cursor, yet the rail hits differently depending on opponents position

well i shouldn't watch such videos with low brightness and low resolution... didn't see that the opponents was standing there the whole time (saw him only at the end)

I know you wanted to make it good, so even players with a shitty resolution have the exact same chances IG.
But that is not the way! PC gaming always needed Hardware! And OH, e-sport could'nt exist without sponsors! And players wanting better Hardware is needed for sponsors !
So please remove this 3-dots rule, make the railgun EXACT, and fix the buggy hitbox please.
You'll have a more spectacular game with it, i swear!

You just can't aim?
Maybe but i don't speak as one. Railgun is not accurate just look at this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVdYG-b4sWY
And that should not be in an esport game.
Well, as the one who made that video, I can say that the laser is accurate based on how it's coded (Even explained by Hyllis in a thread on these forums somewhere). The only problem is that their arguments for why it's done this way kind of make sense, but it has absolutely nothing to do in a serious esport title nonetheless.
I don't see anything good about lining up a shot only to have the shot go somewhere else as soon as a player steps into part of your crosshair. That doesn't belong in any esport title. Or like your shot going through small gaps and cracks (like on the pole) only to have it hit the pole once a player goes behind it.
Not to mention that laser accuracy being based on their default crosshair alone is bad, because most players will find different crosshairs to use, creating some issues (Well, it can do).
But, it's not like they're gonna change their mind. We are after all talking about people who think having a fixed FOV lower than 90 is good because that way "spectators see what players see" (I kid you not, this was one of the arguments used for having a fixed FOV.... SPECTATORS!)
PS! Sry about the insulting last section there, but having a fixed FOV lower than 90 in any FPS game is reserved for consoles and people who don't know better or are inexperienced with FPS games. It really is.

I have limited uploadspeed (very limited uploadspeed), and I'm not gonna spend time on making it superhigh quality for a simple demonstration that I want to upload.
Besides, if you couldn't see what was going on in 720p in that video, you need to have your eyes checked out.

For the FOV its no problem, even if i prefere more than 90 as a player, i am used to it now and doesnt make any problem any more.
For spectators seeing exactly the same as the player, its really not the case yet so its a bad argument, i agree.
Please nadeo, listen to your small community or it will stay so.

you didn't get the point... I (i repeat: I (me)) watched it with low brightness set on my laptop and low resolution set on youtube
calm down

FOV is still a problem. As it is now the fov is borderline adequate. Many good players will probably not look twice at a game that has a locked fov this low. Also most players I know that knows what fov is would not hesitate to bump it up to what's normal for fast competitive esport games on PC.
And for how the laser behaves it's just ludicrous. Having it visually represented as a precision instrument while calculating it as a fat blunt object and then actually draw the laser of crosshair center when it's calculation says its should be a miss.
Basically this is a game with a gun that says "no not a good enough hit so I'll make your shot go to the side instead".
Now if the laser actually was "wider" and absorbed like say grounding a lightningstrike as it tries to pass to close to corners it would make a bit more sens. But it only behaves that way when forced by sticking a valid target in the center of the crosshair.
Also it should really still be possible to land longshots with good aim. Making the laser, if not absorbed by objects in three dot laser width, go straight and accurate even if a target is in the crosshair and thus making it possible to land really nicely aimed shots on long distance should really be considered.
But it won't so no point asking for it.
It is really just a way to limit the skillceiling for the players.

I feel like I should just bump this thread into perpetuity instead of playing the game since the former will improve my aim greater.
Can we address this problem like, now?
