Why is it that I have to continuosly download this "compulsory" update which is for "shootmania" - nothing to do with "canyon" as far as I know. I do not have shootmania and yet I am subject to download this update(<25mb)4 times now , the same update
Something seriously wrong here and becoming totally frustrating and annoying..

How much longer is this nonsense going to continue ???? ..
How long is the "beta" going to continue ???? ..
How long before you get it right ????..

I'm just another disgruntled "car" driver - please get it right soon..

in regards to netcode and hitboxes, one or the other should of been changed. it's too hard to gauge the changes if it's a reduced hitbox AND netcode change. honestly right now it doesn't feel good for the attacker, I play with a 40 ping and I still hit lots of interpolated shots, as well as die when I'm 100% behind a wall.

change something back, either the hitbox or netcode change. It doesn't feel any better, if anything it's a lot harder to hit shots on attack, and for me, most of the shots that do hit look like they shouldn't of. I'm getting too many shots where they visually hit, and they don't.

updates - because it's an update of Maniaplanet, not only of SM. how long - 3-6 months.

As I said - these updates are for "shootmania" not "trackmania"
Please go and read page 1 and the details of update - beta 1.3.
99.9 % of what Hylis says is solely related to "shootmania"and a very small part to Maniaplanet(economical points)
Should people be subject to these updates when they do not have "shootmania" ???
I would think that once you open Maniaplanet you should then be able to choose whether or not to update depending on which game title you have as then you would able to read specifically what the updates are for.

The way things look updates will continue to occur for a very long time...

When you launch ManiaPlanet, you will only download the updates for ManiaPlanet. The updates for shootmania are downloaded when you go to the shootmania storm title, so they won't be downloaded if you only have canyon.

Only the major ManiaPlanet update is not a title update. But they were lazy and wrote exactly the same text for all updates

that's what I meant, they should bear their laziness to get less complaints from track-only-maniacs ^^
