ManiaPlanet.exe" /computeallshadows /useronly /collections=Stadium /fullcheck /LmQuality=Default
It all still works, but make sure your game starts in offline mode.
Disable your internet connection or block maniaplanet with your firewall.
*damn, took me a while to figure out.

Thats not necessarily true for everyone else. It might be a issue of your system... But needs to be confirmed...

CAUTION!
I have spend a few days calculation 768 track on ultra. This created approx 17 GB of lightmaps in my cache folder.
After launching maniaplanet, i got the notification to either increase or trim the cachefiles.
I choose increase, but the limit was set to 1,25 GB - non adjustable.
Maniaplanet trimmed the cache to 1,25 GB and i lost 16GB of lightmaps, unrecovarable.
Im slighty annoyed now ..........

Thanks for the warning! That's very unfortunate and unexpected.
However, only the 4k/2k versions of the lightmaps are lost, but not those that were automatically stored directly in the map files, and thosr should still be acceptable.

And this is the worst way to discover it.

TMarc wrote:Hmm... I tried as well (only 1 TMUF stadium map) and I confirm your issue.
However I can load the Map in MP3-Stadium and calculate the shadows manually there (Gbx size increased from 9kB to 130kB).
Now I just have discovered that apparently the commandline processing mode is not working (either does nothing, or if you specify /title=Stadium it says "Wrong Title") if there are
only TMN/TMUF maps in the Maps folders.
But if you place another another regular ManiaPlanet (TrackMania Canyon, Valley or Stadium) Map (have a very simple map!) there as well, then simply and only with
Code: Select all
ManiaPlanet.exe /computeallshadows /useronly /LmQuality=High
it works!

I made a new track through tm2 stadium and put it in pretty much all the folders in "maps" directory. Used the extension that you used specifically but i am still getting
"Load titles.
Search of matching collections."
Where do i put the tm2 map specifically ?

In your maps folder, anywhere there should be fine.
Did you try the additional parameter /collections=Stadium ?

Did and did again, I am still getting the "load titles" message.
This is what my target looks like:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ManiaPlanet\ManiaPlanet.exe" /computeallshadows /useronly /LmQuality=default
EDIT: Could you send me the map or a map you think would work. I just created a simple map and saved it. I'd like to see if the map that worked for you, works for me as well.

Do you have only that one map in your maps folders?
Perhaps you need to put another Stadium map there. Download any from
http://tm.mania-exchange.com/tracksearc ... ronments=2 and try again.

I had the track in my "my maps" folder and also in the main directory just in case. I downloaded 2 other maps and threw them in the "my maps" folder. Try it and the same "Load titles." message.
