Congratulations, You've lost all credibility of being fair or telling truth with some objectivity. No offense :thx:

v3rdi, you seem to still believe that your way is the best way to discuss. Do that in real life, enjoy and come back here to deliver your experience for us. Like a beta test :D

And try to SHOUT every time you write capital letters in order to make it more real please. :thx:

Until then, please consider that, yes, you are here in a way that is defined by us and for players globally, not just YOU or someone else specific style of being negative. YOU UNDERSTAND?! (<= joke to illustrate your way)

i found that annoying bug now -> i try to set our server to the beta 2 gameplay + no weapon selection. what i get is no weapon selection but beta 3 gameplay and both are checked in the ingame menue :/.

Hylis wrote:you are right, I should have said constructive test
1. have the scores to discuss the balance
2. modify a little the maps to deal with first troubles
3. make good report, a little like you did
4. suggest things to improve on main issues instead of saying only to remove it

you can suggest balances, like nucleus should reload 10% slower etc.
you can suggest ideas, like laser and wallhack would only work on castle bloc, to create fear and maps balancing

etc.

after having receive all of this constructive tests, then we can more easily make decisions
The problem that laser brings into the game is that it provokes extremely defensive play from the attacker. He has to sit back because he is worred about the 3 lasers aiming at him. It also promotes defenders playing fences more, as it is easy to get the attacker to miss his laser by half peeking the fence as a defender, then you get a free shot from at least that ONE defender. I honestly don't think You can ever balance lasers to be an effective defense weapon. Nucleus make much more sense and I could possibly see that working with a lot of tweaking. But keep the lasers on the pads they are designed to be at please.

The fact about the usage of Laser, Nucleus and Rockets is valid to a point. In spitfire next to nobody uses the Nucleus, therefore it is rather pointless.. On most maps rail is a very effective way of playing the game and it is another tactic that teams can use. Cages are a development within the game and add another dimension to it. There will always be Laser pads and Rockets for the defense to use, but cages shall also exist as well... Cages still belong in Rust and Spitfire.

Which 6 out of the 9 maps are never played?

I'm not 100% sure about the way you play spitfire but the "usual" competitive defence never uses the cages and makes the nucleus a great defensive weapon.
+1

Okay the 'standard, non-public' way of playing the map Spitfire doesn't include the cages to a certain degree, but FYI they still exist.

Yet I refer to my previous question, which 6 out of 9 maps don't get played?
