Jonthekiller stated in the comments: "For the GA, the maps will be compatible I think, and if it will not, we will copy maps on tm² or convert if needed."

lol, in the video the commentators talk about one of the players wearing a firey skin. And another says "when you put water on fire, what do you get?". They didn't answer, but obviously it's STEAM/SMOKE. This was moments after they mentioned that something interesting was coming Wednesday.
