Perfect?
Is that what your brain interpreted from my observation?
Sorry, but you're still not showing me a better option.
Show me a better driving game with editors and I'll take your whining seriously.

What makes a game a good game? Based on #players this game is not good... just sayingDemented wrote:Perfect?

Anyways, I think both of you are right and you both want a better game. The one is just more patient/calm than the other...
The game is not doing great Demented, at least admit that and it's only getting worse for at least another 6months(?)... Enough reasons to complain.
The neverending waiting game has to stop.
Re: Trackmania Turbo has a new release date
Well, of course the game(s) have issues, and I never attempted to say that they don't. My observation was simply to point out that I haven't seen a better option out there for people who like to create and race tracks like I do. If there is one I'd truly like to see it.
Why do people want to jump down my throat for trying to make a positive observation? Are we not all here because we like the concept behind TM? Yea, I get why people are frustrated when things don't go the way we hope or are told, but there are a few people who act like the little kid who throws his ice cream on the ground because it didn't have the kind of sprinkles he was promised. So don't condemn me for wanting to enjoy the ice cream the way it is. When the better stuff comes along I'll enjoy that too.
It annoyed me when I heard that TMT would no longer be released before the end of the year. I was looking forward to it and that likely means Lagoon will get pushed back too. But, when they said it was because they thought of some new features to add to it, I thought Cool, why not try and do it better.
If it bothers people so much then offer constructive solutions, go away, or play something else for a while and come back later and see how it's working.
Again, my observation was simply to point out that I haven't seen a better option out there for people who like to create and race tracks like I do. If there is one I'd truly like to see it.

Sure?acceleracer_01 wrote:But that's already the case?...adamkooo2 wrote: You can give "demo" or something like that to test it. It could have menu with solo (only white), multi ( 30 min) and profile.
The Demo is still running if you haven't noticed yet.
Yes, leave out all the other environments to let them die and have Stadium as the one and only environment. Such people make me angry.adamkooo2 wrote:You could put to demo only one environment, so I think Stadium.
Have you tmt demo now?

Yes it have...Cerovan wrote:As Turbo has a different philosophy than Trackmania²...
for example: maps packs or cars packs will be as paid DLC

Re: Trackmania Turbo has a new release date
i hope TMT will get another advertising before it's released, appearing on e3 and the front of the steam page was a very good thing, better than anything that ever happened to tm2, it needs more exposure though, even indie games gets more attention than trackmania does
make some noise, sales, free keys to youtubers, advertise though the game like before, do SOMETHING, this silence is what made TM2/SM flop
speaking of sales thats what TMU and Valley needs, one is a old game and the other released around the same time as Stadium and overshadowed by it, i doubt either brings money to nadeo, they could be used at least to bring new players attention to the series

Re: Trackmania Turbo has a new release date
about the helicopter drop off, is the game going to have more ways to gain speed right at the start of the track? Would be nice to get things moving quicker like removing the countdown or just say GO!, in a game like Trackmania where getting medals and better times requires constant restarts the countdown is just an inconvenience, it's specially annoying in short maps or when the map is hard from the start. getting a turbo at the start of the race would be great too, i've seen tracks like that with Unlimiter, overlapping the start block with the turbo block, it's really great.Cerovan wrote:Post your questions below, we'll try to answer them
is the game really going to have the announcer screaming CHECKPOINT! every time? it's really annoying, the youtube comments agree with me
what about the game modes? TM2 ditched everything the previous trackmanias did, some of the old modes came back as titles, some didn't, TMT will have some modes of it's own with none of the older ones, it's sad, rather than seeing the modes adding up they are just replaced
how are you guys going to deal with the downvoting the steam version of TMT because the game uses Uplay? because that's might happen, it happened with other ubisoft games
water in trackmania can be used for hidden shortcuts and water skipping and all that fun stuff, in Canyon it was completely useless, how will Lagoon incorporate water as a gameplay element?
why a bad game like The Crew gets all the attention while Trackmania gets none, what kind of advertisement will TMT have? what about sales for the pc version? it doesn't matter even if it's only a 10% off, sales gives the game more exposure since it appears in the steam and humble store front page
any plans for a DRM free version?
