Seriosly, this is going downhill.

Yeah block-import provides the game from getting old. But Block-import is not necessary right at the beginning.
Or would you disallow a small child to do this and that or it will die earlier?
Block import only gets necessary, when all the blocks are known well and so the ways of using them. Then there are less creative and new uses of block-combinations. Then it's time to get block-import. (or maybe a bit before that)
So stop moaning about block-import not being included right from the beginning ;)

Hylis didn't rule it out forever. He just said they're not doing it right now.

They could very well introduce it later, just like how they introduced new blocks to desert, rally, snow, island, stadium... etc... over time.

As I understand it, the development of TM² will continue over the release of each environment. So new features/functions will be added even after we buy it. Quite a deal I'd say.

Exactly. I've never used a 3D modeler, for block import, mod making, or car design, I've only used the included default tools, and still, this game has never gotten old for me.

Me either, actually, 3d modeling is too hard for me, however, it doesn't mean someone didn't like it and didn't want it. So for their sakes, block import should be as well.
