Quite honestly, I think that removing block import (for now) is a smart move. Im am sure that a lot of people will whine about it, but I think that blocks can create a host of problems ranging from compatibility to quality of experience. Imagine, If anyone can make their own blocks, you may begin to encounter tracks that have poorly designed pieces that degrade fun factor. Sure there will be LOL tracks that will capitalize on this and quality parts in really good tracks, but it may be good to set up a quality assurance system were track parts can be rated and/or approved and then released to be usable by everyone.

I hope i have mistake about that but, possible, we will never see import of custom blocks, know why?
Because Custom Blocks means Less Money for Ubisoft.
That is simple, they need to sell new environments (of TM2, SM, QM) one after another.
If peoples buys only canyon, and then will play tons of custom art-variable tracks (for Free!), then not too much of them will want for payable update of environments.
Look at Team Fortress 2, can you imagine that you will pay for maps with new environments like Alpine, Egypt, Harbor, City or Jungle?
Ofc not, because custom level design and art it is a initial part of this game, and no one complains about bad art or design, peoples just not plays on levels like that.
So if you need new-looking TM2, you will pay for new environments.
Just imagine if original TM would have possibility of creating fully custom tracks, i'm more then assured that then you wouldn't sit right now at this forum and didn't read these lines.
So Ubisoft interested in getting environments old...

Oh, I'm almost -sure- they're going to add block import. They're not going to pull an EA and have features in an older title that they remove from a newer title...they just don't have everything finished that they want to add yet. Again, unlike some other companies, Nadeo will release a finished product that's as bug-free and flexible as possible...

Knowing the huge difference between the different environments in TMU, especially on physics and feel, no custom block can achieve that.

It's funny how months ago, people were like "Block import! That's AWESOME!"
and now are like "Ey, f*ck that shit."

We don't say, that we don't want block import. It is just not necessary at the beginning ;)
