Is it something only related with me, or is it a wanted change?

The sounds have been changed, yes.
I prefer the old countdown sounds for TM and the new ones for SM, though.

Let's hope there is a way to revert them back for TM Canyon....

And in addition, sometimes there is no engine sound.

I am talking about Canyon when played in solo mode in a PC that has installed the new Beta

Entire audio of the car changed, perhaps it's position dependent. I play at the farthest distance from the car, otherwise it feels like some cheap console racing game. Sounds like crap now though. Do they beta test this or do they just throw it out there for kicks because they realize almost noone plays now? They usually have good updates, but this one sucks. Car sounds like crap now, and I don't need any patronizing comments about how my hardware setup is to blame. I'm using an Asus Xonar Essence STX with 7.1 setup and it sounds like garbage. This update fails about as hard as Shootmania is going to.

This update is called a beta for a reason. Nadeo has changed many things in this update but it is still a work in progress.
