Understood what he meant: he was expecting shadow of light bounce (=indirect light).
Compared with direct light shadows theses shadows are often softer and have less contrast (more difficult to see).
In addition, as you said, this room is just fully dark (the game clamp to a minimum light) because there is not enough light entering.
I've made a sample of indirect light shadow: (computed in high quality)
green arrow shows direct light shadow
red arrows show indirect light shadows

I decided to go on my track. Encountered an error with the lighting in the caves. (The route to creating upgrade MP 2.0)

It's not in the editor, it's when you play old maps from previous versions of the game.

So recalculating the shadows fixes this issue? Of course only possible on own maps...

Yes... sort of... if you are willing to recompute the shadows on all your maps.

Too bad. They must have modified the polygons or the texturing coordinates, which now don't match.
Never change a running system, eh?
