I can't connect to the master server and login. Error 12029. Please help

it is low level

you can not connect to master server maybe because of a firewall, antivirus or else

there is also sometimes like people have internet explorer and it is "working offline" in the menu. If you remove this "working offline", it is resume the connection as well for Maniaplanet

I appreciate the reply but it's something that isn't on my end, I don't use an anti-virus, my firewall is configured for every maniaplanet game to be allowed, and I've re-installed the game. It still can't connect to the server, it gives me an option to make an account but it tells me I need an internet connection to play.

Did you check if your firewall / anti virus caused issue? Is the IE working offline option not hit? What is your internet connection?

I had entries in my host file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) that blocked the maniaplanet servers, I had them because I borrowed Trackmania from a friend and wanted to test the performance of my machine in preparation for Shootmania, so I had to put those entries in to try the game. Removing them made it work.
