It is now possible to create and manage teams at the player page.
Can someone please explain the difference to groups.
You can define the name and a description of a team. Where are these two values used?
I ask, because I want to define a optimal length of the strings.
Should I use =RR=, Rentner, Rentner Reloaded or better =RR= Rentner-Reloaded?
Is it possible to use character formatting like $o$i$fa2=RR= R$fffentner-$fa2R$fffeloaded in both fields?

Re: [Player Page] Create a team
I got a team but the team management is not connected to the game by now so we got to wait till we see this Team Option in the game.
A good thing that I would like to see is the Name Prefix (for team member) defined by the team.

Re: [Player Page] Create a team
I had magnetik explain it to me a while ago.
A huge difference is that you can only be in one single team but in multiple groups.
I think that answers some of your questions.

[14:47] <magnetik> It will come with something bigger in the future
[14:47] <magnetik> for now it's quite useless and buggy
[14:47] <seeba> I was a bit surprised that you can only be in one group at a time... which is sad in my opinion
[14:48] <magnetik> You can be in multimple groups
[14:48] <magnetik> groups != teams
[14:48] <magnetik> and yep you can be in only one team (at least for now)
[14:48] <doben> teams=clans?
[14:48] <magnetik> yep
[14:48] <seeba> ah ok, i thought that that's the same
[14:48] <magnetik> ther eis also a group tool in ManiaPlanet
[14:48] <magnetik> even if it's quite hidden
[14:49] <LYNX|Weerwolf> can !== allowed
[14:49] <seeba> and you're able to be in multiple groups then?
[14:49] <magnetik> yep
[14:49] <seeba> ok that's fine then for me, thanks
I think that answers some of your questions.
